"Slovakian designers seek to homeless in billboards"

A new proposal to house the homeless has come from an unlikely place: A Slovakian design agency. DesignDevelop has started a social initiative called the Gregory Project that seeks to convert existing billboard ads into two-room apartments.

Billboards in Slovakia create a "V" shape to face drivers in each directions. The Gregory Project proposes that the space between these boards be turned into public living spaces for the homeless. Not only would the initiative utilize existing structures, it would "need just a minimal maintenance cost which could be partially paid through the rental of its advert space" according to the project's website.

While the Gregory Project is based around the city grid of Banská Bystrica, Slovakia, the designers say they believe the plan could be implemented anywhere with the proper research.

Como todos sabem (or not) o meu curso é Línguas e Relações Internacionais e estudo na Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto. Este curso, com esta designação e estrutura, é único no país e tem uma média bastante alta (17,24 - never forget). Ter a oportunidade de estudar numa FACULDADE SÓ deste ramo é simplesmente fantástico e too good to be true.
